GoodWe GW3600-ES-20 – 3.6 kW Single-Phase Hybrid Solar Inverter
The GoodWe GW3600-ES-20 is a compact and efficient 3.6 kW single-phase hybrid inverter from the ES G2 Series, designed for residential solar PV and energy storage systems. Combining solar generation, battery storage and backup functionality, it helps maximise the use of generated solar energy and increase household energy independence. The ES G2 Series is compatible with a range of batteries, including GoodWe Lynx Home U.
The GW3600-ES-20 features 2 independent MPPT trackers, supports up to 5,400 W of PV input power, and provides a wide 60–550 V MPPT operating range. With a maximum input current of 16 A per MPPT, it offers flexible PV system design and compatibility with modern solar modules.
Designed for 48 V low-voltage battery systems, the inverter supports both Li-ion and lead-acid batteries. It provides up to 3,600 W charging power and 3,900 W discharge power, while the backup output can deliver 3,680 VA continuously and up to 7,360 VA for 10 seconds.

The GW3600-ES-20 incorporates comprehensive safety features, including PV insulation resistance detection, residual current monitoring, reverse polarity protection, anti-islanding protection, AC overcurrent, short-circuit and overvoltage protection. It also features an integrated DC switch, Type II DC surge protection and remote shutdown, while AFCI is available as an option.
