The Stäubli MC4-Evo2 Socket PV-KBT4-EVO 2A/10II is an original female cable coupler designed for secure, high-performance DC connections in demanding photovoltaic installations. Developed for 10 mm² PV cables with an outer cable diameter of 6.4–8.4 mm, it combines the proven reliability of the original MC4 system with the advanced performance of the MC4-Evo2 connector family. It is suitable for both field assembly and preassembled cable solutions and is fully compatible with the original MC4 connector family.
Featuring Stäubli's proven MULTILAM contact technology, the MC4-Evo2 Socket ensures exceptionally low contact resistance, high current-carrying capability, and long-term reliability. Designed for harsh outdoor environments, it offers IP65/IP68 protection when mated, excellent UV and ammonia resistance, and international certifications for photovoltaic systems up to 1500 V DC. Installation is completed using standard MC4 crimping tools.
